Tuesday, May 18, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, David; children, Jennifer (Stephen) Butler, Kyle Litzenberger; step-son, Dennis (Alexis) Litzenberger; mother, Dorothy Doyle; siblings, Ronald (Deborah) Kavanagh, Maureen (Rick Horch) Kavanagh, Terry Kavanagh; grandchildren, Ryan and Sara; sister-in-law, Patricia (Ronald) Pieniaszek; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Predeceased by her father, Gerald Kavanagh and maternal grandmother and grandfather, Ethel B. and Sherman P. Hodges.
Coleen was a member of the Flower City Down Syndrome Network and the American Legion.
Family and friends may call Friday 3-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where her Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 7 PM. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Flower City Down Syndrome Network, 2117 Buffalo Road #132, Rochester, NY 14624 or the American Heart Association, 3500 Winton Place, Suite 4, Rochester, New York 14623 in Coleen's memory.
