Constance Snyder joined her beloved husband, Frank, on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at age 91. She was predeceased by her daughter-inlaw, Dr. Florence Winship and son-in-law, Robert Bierley; brothers, Malcolm and John Smith. She is survived by her sons, John and Thomas; daughters, Katharine (Art) Hochner, Susan (Lyndon) Mann, Martha Mryglod, Ellen (John) Nolan; grandchildren, Diana Hochner, Alex Hochner, Eric Bierley, Laura Bierley, Paul Mryglod, Rachel Hammond, Rebecca Mryglod, Lauren Case, Elizabeth Glover, John Nolan, Terry Nolan, Sheila Pryce and 9 greatgrandchildren; sister, Reinaldah (Nell) Hartmann; brother, Duane (Duke) Smith; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Anne Cooney. Connie graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Syracuse, NY and served in WW II as a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army Nurse Corp.
The family will receive friends, Friday, February 13th from 4-8PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Wounded Warrior Project, 370 7th Ave., Suite 1802, New York, NY 10001.
