Constance Ognissanti

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.

Passed away peacefully with her family around her at home as she wished.

Born to Rose and Angelo Nucci in Rochester, NY. She lived her life in Irondequoit and in later years Cayuga, Florida and her remaining years Greece. Predeceased by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Ognissanti Sr., her loving sister, Carmine Verrone, her sister-in-law, Rosalind Ognissanti, and her long time friend/family Pat Whittaker.

Mother to Anthony "Tony" Ognissanti Jr (Tara Russo), Janine Ognissanti (Joe Bonfiglio), Lori Yildiz (Omer). Grandmother to Nickolas Leisenring Sr and Heather Leisenring (Janine), Ashley Famiglietti and Elise Ognissanti (Tony), Ceylan Yildiz and Selin Yildiz (Lori) Great Grandmother to Peighton Faieta and Davina Ognissanti (Elise Zach), Paul and Alexandra Famigliertti (Ashley Gary), Nick Jr (Nickolas Sr). Many nieces and nephews. Also, her long time friends the Butterflies…Sharon, Arlene, Phyllis, Sara and Carole.

She lived a full life working at Harris Corp as a cost accountant, traveling, gardening and reading were her favorite pastimes. In Mom’s early years she enjoyed being on a bowling league with her Butterfly Pals.

After retirement Mom and Dad enjoyed spring and summer days at the lake house and fall and winter in Florida. She enjoyed many happy days being around family and her grand animals Fish Stick, Ducky, Daisy, Rosie and Guppie.

Peacefully, Tuesday afternoon, she said goodbye to the body that would no longer work for her and this world to join her family and friends who have been waiting for her in Heaven. The hole in our hearts will never be filled. We will miss you always and forever.
