Peacefully, entered heaven, surrounded by her family, August 15th 2016 at age 81.
She is predeceased by her father and mother William and Ruth Lee, her husband Buddie, son, Elgie, and daughters, Lou Helen and Judy. Grandson, DeMario Moore, brothers Charlie and Nehemiah Lee.
She is survived by children, Sharon Moore, Carvin (Christine) Blocker, Taffedy (Scott) England, Darren (Marlene) Blocker, Apasha, Joyce, Tina, Michael, Tito, Joel and Stephen Blocker, Askyia (Larry) Lacy. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Her sisters, Jessie Mae Butler, Ruthie McWhite, Mary Holloman, Mamie Lowe, Ella Wilson, and Geneva Fryson. Her brothers, William, Roy, Jeremiah, Robert, and Lester Lee. Many, many nieces and nephews.
Connie was a foster parent for 35 years and fostered hundreds of children.
Her family will receive guests Saturday from 2pm to 5pm at New Comer Funeral Home 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
