Greece: Peacefully on Tuesday July 9, 2013 at 98.
Predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Alberta; brother, Robert; sister, Lois Pettis; granddaughter, Jill Campbell. Survived by his son, Roderic (Mary Ellen); daughter, Janice (Robert) Ulrich; grandchildren, Meredith (George) Herman, Christine (David) Remington, Roderic (Anna) Campbell, Robert Ulrich, Jennifer (Kevin) Cox, Michael (Erin Carrigan) Ulrich; 9 great-grandchildren; and devoted neighbors, Alan, Sue, Ryan, Janine and Haley Swanson; a niece and several nephews.
Neil grew up in St. Mary's Orphanage, joined the Army during WWII. He retired from the US Post Office and was an avid golfer who loved to give lessons to so many.
The family would like to thank the staff members at RGH (5100) and Leo Center of Caring for the loving care given to Neil and his family.
Friends may call Thursday 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Mass will be Friday 10 AM at Peace of Christ Parish St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.
