Dasia Allyssia Marie Whitfield

Dasia Allyssia Marie Whitfield was born on February 1, 1998 to Derek and Cassandra Whitfield. A radiant soul with a heart full of compassion, Dasia lived her life with intention, laughter, and unwavering love for those closest to her. Sunset on June 21, 2025.

She is predeceased by her brother Durrell Jaquan Whitfield and survived by her devoted parents, Derek and Cassandra Whitfield; her cherished fur baby, Kendall; and her beloved sisters, Dr. Chastity Murray (William), Delise Whitfield, and Serenity Whitfield. She was a proud and loving aunt to Amari Ranae, Naviyah Miracle Leeah, William Joseph, Wynter Velda, and Adonis Xavier. Her presence will also be deeply missed by a host of extended family and close friends who were touched by her kindness and light.

Dasia had an infectious energy that made others feel seen, heard, and loved. Her warmth and genuine spirit left lasting impressions on everyone she encountered. She was especially devoted to her nieces and nephews, playing an active and joyful role in their lives, and shared an unbreakable bond with her sisters that was rooted in love, laughter, and fierce loyalty.

Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made will be felt forever. The name Dasia means gift from God, and Dasia will forever be remembered for her vibrant presence, her giving heart, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

She will be deeply and dearly missed

No prior calling hours.

The family will receive friends for A Celebration of Life at Millennium Lodge at Greece Canal Park, 241 Elmgrove Rd. at 4pm. A balloon release will be held promptly at 5:15pm. A repass and visitation will follow immediately until 8pm.
