Daniel Brightman

Daniel John (Dan or "DJ") passed unexpectedly at home on October 5, 2023.

He is predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Marilyn; sister, Kathleen; uncles, Philip and Fred (Ginny); and aunt Kelly Young.

Dan is survived by his brothers, David (Linda), and Thomas; nieces Katelyn (Michael) Tivey, and Rachel Brightman; great nephew Michael Tivey; uncles, Nathan (Sheila), and Cliff (Sandy) Mills; and aunts Susan Cooper, and Susan Drobek (Charlie Hutchins).

Dan was an impressive bowler since childhood with a 300 game to boot. He was passionate about eco-friendly alternatives and always willing to educate others in his beliefs. Even as a teen, you could find Dan blasting some heavy metal and hard rock from his boombox to unwind.

Dan was a son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and a friend that is gone from this world too soon. He will be missed by his family but will reunite and rest peacefully with his parents and sister.

Family will receive friends Thursday, October 26th from 4-7PM with a service to follow at New Comer Cremations and Funerals 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
