Turner, Daniel E.
Greece: Joined his Lord and Saviour in Heaven Sunday, September 30, 2012 at age 84 with his family at his side. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Janet; son, Robert (Mary); daughters, Kathy Turner, Carol (Don) Beckwith; grandchildren, Robert, Catharine, Thomas; sister, Catharine (Robert) Maza and nieces and nephews. Daniel was a United States Army Veteran who served his country during the Korean War. A longtime member of Northridge Church and a retiree of General Railway Signal after 36 years of service.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 3, from 3-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11 AM at Northridge Church, 2052 St. Paul St. Interment will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be directed to Samaritans Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
