Greece: Passed peacefully, November 6, 2012 at age 81 with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Agnes Kubit; sister, Agnes; brothers,John and Jude. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Nancy; daughter Teresa (Philip) Howe sons, Daniel Jr. (Nancy), Andrew (Joni), Timothy (Katrina); grandchildren, Benjamin, Cassondra, Daniel, Matthew, Kayleigh, Josiah, Jared and many nieces and nephews. Dan achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at age 15, was a United States Army Veteran, who served his Country during the Korean War. An avid hunter, pilot and devoted Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14th from4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave.,where a Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 15th at 11 AM. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care, 4111 Winton Rd. S., Rochester, NY 14623.
