Predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Lois Mikel.
Survived by his loving wife, Peg Mikel. Son, Mark (Vilma) Mikel, Daughter, Lynne Mikel. Grandchildren, Nicole, Janaina (Adam) Brother in laws, Thomas (Bonnie) Wakefield, David (Cindy) Wakefield. Sisters in law, Sue Lavin, Annette (Ed Walsh) Wakefield. Several, nieces and nephews, many dear friends.
The family will receive friends for Dan's mass of Christian burial, 11am Saturday April 25, 2026 at St Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 54 Kuhn Rd, Rochester, NY 14612. Interment is private, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Daniel Stephen Mikel was a loving husband and father, a man of integrity who will be dearly missed.
