Daniel Robert Welch

Daniel Robert Welch passed peacefully, surrounded by his devoted, unwavering parents and sister, on January 4th, 2026, at the age of 45.

He is survived by his father, Robert Welch; his mother, Barbara Welch; his sister, Carrie Pierce; and his beloved niece and nephews, Andrew, Brayden, Daniel, and Cristine. He is also survived by his Uncle John, Aunt Nadora, Uncle Jim, his godfather, Jack Welch, along with cousins and lifelong friends who will cherish his memory.

Dan married his middle school sweetheart, Christine Welch, and together they shared nearly 30 years of life together, including 17 years of marriage. Their long journey together was a meaningful part of who Dan was.

Dan had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing the drums. He also found peace and happiness on the water, spending time on his boats. These were the moments that brought him the greatest joy.

Calling hours will be held on January 17th, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m., at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, Westside Chapel, 2636 Ridgeway Ave, with a eulogy to be delivered at 1:00 p.m..

Dan will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
