Daphne May Davidson

Daphne was born in Hamilton Mountain Jamaica in 1923. She was a beloved and devoted wife, and a caring mother of four. She had unconditional love for her children and other family members. She loved to laugh and her infectious smile instantly lit up the room.

Daphne was not only mother to her four children but many others. Her heart and home were always open to relatives in need of assistance. She was affectionately known as "mother", " grandma", or "nana". Her goodness and loving kindness will surely endure.

Daphne May Davidson passed away Christmas Eve 2019 in the presence of her family at age 96. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter C. Davidson and granddaughter, Maisha Davidson. She is survived by her children; Glen (Sharon) Davidson, Lenora P. Thomas, Laroni Davidson, Carol "John" (Michele) Davidson, grandchildren; Karla Wilcher, Roxanne Davidson, Nicole Davidson, Asha Hickman, Dr. Rashida Clarke, Brendon Davidson, Heather Amalaha, 13 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 2 great great grandchild.

Daphne will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 4pm to 6pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. where funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4th at 11am. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery.
