David E. Bayne

David E. Bayne, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on October 11, 2025, in Batavia, New York, at the age of 70. Born in West Virginia on October 28, 1954, David was known for his kind spirit and steadfast dedication to his family and community.

David devoted many years of his career to Delco Products in Rochester, where he was admired by his colleagues for his work ethic and collaborative nature. His contributions to the company were significant, reflecting his commitment and expertise.

An honorable veteran, David proudly served in the Marine Corps, embodying the values of service and sacrifice that he held close to his heart throughout his life. His military service instilled in him a sense of discipline and respect that resonated in all areas of his life.

David leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years, Kelly A. Pierce Bayne, who was his steadfast companion and confidante. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. He is also survived by his son, Derrick LaMonte Bayne, and Derrick's partner, Jamie Lynn Illingsworth, who brought joy and pride to David’s heart. The legacy of David continues through his cherished grandchildren, Marlee, Elsa, Layken LaMonte Bayne, and Samirah Campbell, who will carry forward the love and values he instilled in them.

David is also remembered by his sisters, Debbie and Donna, who grieve the loss of a sibling but hold close the memories of their time together. He was predeceased by his parents, Ike and Wanda Boner Bayne, who provided a foundation of love and support throughout his life.
