David F. Clark Jr. of Rochester, New York, suddenly passed away on June 12, 2026 at the age of 63.

Born on January 13, 1963, in Springfield, MA, David was the son of David and Joyce Clark, and brother to Daniel Clark and Lisa Morgia (Clark). He grew up in Brighton, New York. David graduated from Brighton High School in 1981, then attended Morrisville College, Monroe Community College, and Rochester Institute of Technology where he graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in 1989.

David was deeply dedicated to his career as a Mechanical Engineer. He worked at several respected companies including Getinge, Performance Technologies, SenDec, IEC Electronics, and most recently MKS Instruments. Over the course of his career he advanced to Senior Manufacturing Engineer and contributed to many impactful projects. He was highly valued by his colleagues for his expertise, work ethic, and problem-solving abilities.

Above all, David was a loving and devoted husband and father who deeply cherished his wife Lisa and his son Bryce. He worked tirelessly to provide for them and took great pride in caring for his family. A passionate dog lover, he adored his beloved dogs — Remington, Toby, Harley, Jango, Benny, and Brody — who brought him constant joy and companionship. David was a dedicated family man who cherished time with his parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He loved boating with family on Canandaigua Lake, spending time with friends, and cheering on his favorite player, Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots. Charismatic and outgoing, David had a gift for staying connected with people throughout his life and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. David was a kind, generous, and thoughtful man who had a positive impact on so many people's lives, and will be dearly missed.

His family warmly invites friends and loved ones to honor his remarkable journey with a celebration of life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, located at 601 Edgewood Ave, Rochester, NY 14618. Following the mass, guests are welcome to join a reception in Slattery Hall.
