Survived by his loving wife, Joanne Cooke. Son, David (Melody) Cooke, Daughter Janell (Owen) Brown. Step-sons, Michael, Craig Laveck. Step-daughter, Lisa Laveck. Sisters, Elizabeth (Edward) Dingman, Suzanne. Brothers, Timothy and John Cooke. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great granddaughter Ellie, several nieces and nephews, dear friends.
David was the owner of Cooke and Sons Painting Co. He was a faithful member of First Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He will be missed by so many.
Friends may call 4-6 pm Monday December 30, 2019 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) At 6 pm funeral services and words of remembrance will follow visitation in the funeral home chapel officiated by Pastor Mike Metzger of First Bible.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Rd, Hilton, NY 14468 in memory of David.
