After a courageous fight with cancer, David passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 at age 52 with his family at his side. He is predeceased by his father Ronald, brother, Donald and brother in law, Salvatore Tantillo. He is survived by his mother, Rita; sister, Maureen Tantillo; brothers, Karl(Angela) and Steve Merkley; nieces and nephews, Tracy, Robert, Christopher, Eric (Danielle); grand nieces, Kayla, Maia, Emma, Presley, Natalie and Skyler. David will always be remembered for his dependability, committment to people and selflessness.
The family will recieve friends Wednesday, June 1st from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where funeral serviceds will be held Thursday at 11 AM. Interment , Holy SAepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victo Road, Fairport, NY 14450.
