David D. Remillard Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on March 2, 1959, David leaves behind a legacy filled with love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Throughout his life, David demonstrated unwavering dedication to his family. He was a great husband to his wife, Kim, always offering support and affection. As a father, he instilled values of hard work and integrity in his children: Nicole (Jesse) Wyche, David (Bridgette) Remillard Jr., Greg (Stacey) Remillard, Tony (Jessy) Imperato, and Christopher Stockweather. David also took immense joy in being a grandfather to his grandchildren, Isaiah, Avian, Aleya, Angelina, Luciana, Mia, Gabriella, Chase, and Scarlette, who brought him immense pride and happiness.
David enjoyed a variety of hobbies that reflected his vibrant personality. He had a passion for fixing cars, often found under the hood, skillfully bringing old engines back to life. Additionally, David loved playing cards, where he created lasting memories with friends and family alike.
He is survived by his sisters, Suzan Daniels and Virginia (Mark) Frankenberger; his brother, Charlie (Sue) Remillard; his sister-in-law, Barb Imperato; and his brother-in-law, Brian Daniels. Fondly remembered by many, David also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry his spirit with them.
David is preceded in death by his parents, William and Jaqueline Remillard, along with his brothers, Donald Remillard and Carl Remillard. Their memories will forever remain a part of David’s legacy, as he learned from their words and actions throughout his life.
As we celebrate David's life, we remember a man who enriched the lives of all who knew him. His presence will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
