David F. Swartz

Passed away on June 12, 2026 at the age of 86.

Predeceased by his parents, Sidney and Helen Swartz; siblings, William, Joyce and Richard.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia; children, Susan (David) Sanford, Karen (Kevin) Cummings, Michael (Mary), and Beth (Steven) Triechler; grandchildren, Matthew (Caren), Joshua, Jessica, Connor, Catelyn, and Cydney; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Kourtnie, Lucas, Kinsley, Chase, Chelsea, Aiden, and Josileen; sister, Janice (Richard) McKnight; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Rochester General Hospital, DeMay Living Center, Monroe Community Hospital and Rochester Regional Health Hospice for the care and compassion that they provided to David.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rochester Regional Health Hospice, Monroe Community Hospital Foundation, The Alzheimer's Association or charity of your choice.

His Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Saturday June 27, 2026 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue.
