Deborah Ann Wingate

Deborah Ann Wingate was born March 24, 1967 in Rochester NY to Ruth and Henry Orum (predeceased)
She attended Nathaniel Rochester School #3 and graduated Benjamin Franklin High School in 1985.

Deborah became a dedicated mother to Danielle in 1984 and met her life partner Tyrone shortly thereafter and they united in marriage in 1989. The family of three became four when Christopher was born in 1992.

As a child Deborah attended New Bethel CME Church until she rededicated her life to Christ and joined Faith Temple Church. Most recently she and Tyrone joined Church of Life Ministries where they served faithfully under Pastor Linda Strickland-Wyatt.
On November 7, 2015 they were licensed Deacons. Deaconess Wingate was co-chair of the Pastor aide committee and participated in the COLM new members class. She also chaired the One Faith World Ministries Christmas celebration. She served with the spirit of love and excellence. Her expressive way of saying "Hallelujah"will be surely missed.

Employed for 26 years by the Rochester City School District Deborah worked as a Teacher's Assistant at many elementary schools throughout her tenure.

After her immediate family took their first cruise in 2004, she fell in love with cruises. In 2005 she began organizing a yearly friends and family cruise. Her "take charge" attitude helped with groups as large as 44 people.
She traveled throughout the Caribbean, Bahamas and the Hawaiian Islands

Her beloved granddaughter Brielle brought so much joy to her life and Deborah was especially grateful that Brielle "Did the Right Thing" when they were home alone last December.



On Saturday February 25, 2017 surrounded by family and friends Deborah transitioned from her earth suit to her heavenly garment. She leaves to cherish her beloved husband Tyrone, Daughter Danielle Robinson, Son Christopher Wingate and Granddaughter Brielle Harris.
