Dee Lansberry, a cherished member of his family and community, was born on September 19, 1940, in Lockhaven, Pennsylvania. He passed away peacefully in Rochester, New York, on July 23, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Dee dedicated his career to American Airlines, where he made many friends and left an indelible mark with his remarkable personality. Known for his quick wit and banter, he could light up any room with his humor and charm, effortlessly making connections with those around him.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dee had a deep affection for the great outdoors. He loved camping, hunting, and indulging his passion for woodworking. His meticulous nature extended to his beloved lawn and garden, where he took pride in cultivating beauty and nurturing life.
Dee's family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his three children: Rod Lansberry, Tod (Mary) Lansberry, and DeAnn Secor. His spirit lives on through his sister, Nona Lucas, and his adored grandchildren, Malory (Tom), Cody (Alyssa), and Rylee. Dee was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Malena, Mikey, Oliver, and Ainsley. He enjoyed a rich family life, surrounded by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who held him dear.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Judy Lee Lansberry; his parents, Dayton and Annabel Lansberry; and nine siblings. Dee's profound love for his family and his generous spirit gained him the esteem and affection of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
As we remember Dee Lansberry, we celebrate a life well-lived—full of joy, adventure, and unwavering love for his family. He will forever be missed but never forgotten.
