Diana Adams

August 31, 1948 — April 21, 2025

Rochester, New York

Rochester - Diana Adams passed away peacefully at home on April 21st, her cherished daughter Kaeri at her side.

Born on August 31, 1948, in Cohoes, NY, Diana was the youngest daughter of Everett and Margaret Degen, one of eight siblings. A proud Virgo to her core, she carried with her a strong will, a steadfast spirit, and a loving heart.

Diana retired from Manning & Napier in 2009. Beyond work, she found joy in simple pleasures: adventures to the casino with friends, cheering from the stands at Red Wings games, and spirited games of Euchre whenever she could gather willing players. Yet, of all the blessings in her life, none brought her greater pride or deeper happiness than her daughter, Kaeri. Their bond was Diana's truest joy and most enduring legacy-a testament to the love, resilience, and generosity she nurtured every day.

Diana is survived by her devoted daughter, Kaeri (Robert) Carroll; her siblings, Dorothy (Gerald) Hughes, Helen (Chris) Degen, and Douglas (Susan) Degen; and her lifelong friend and kindred spirit, Nancy Montesano. She leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Diana was predeceased by her brothers, John, Everett, and David Degen, and her sister, Elizabeth Richmond.

The family wishes to express their deepest thanks to Dr. Shannon Pitts, whose compassion and care guided Diana through nearly two decades, and to the U of R Hospice team, who brought comfort and dignity to her final months.

A small private service will be held in Diana's honor. Those who wish to celebrate her memory are invited to contribute to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause Diana supported faithfully for nearly twenty years, reflecting the generous and hopeful spirit she carried throughout her life.
