Gates: Passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at age 73 with her family at her side. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Anne; brothers, Ronald, Vincent; sister, Catherine. She is survived by her children, Mary Louise (Steve) Pettenski, Reginald (fiancee Cathy Conway), Brian (Christine); grandchildren, Bradley, Stephanie (Brandon) Foster, Meghan, Jack Michael Freda, Robert, John; brothers, Robert, John (Debra), Edward (Joanne); brother-in-law, Lionel and several nieces, nephews; and grand-nieces and nephews. Diane will always be remembered as a loving Mom, Grandma, Aunt, Sister and Friend. The family would like to thank everyone that said a prayer, sent a meal, made a visit and had us in your thoughts. A special thanks to the Wilmot Cancer Center, especially Mary B. and Lifetime Care, especially Diane K.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 7th from 1-3 and 5-8 at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Diane's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:30 AM at St. Helen's Church, 310 Hinchey Road. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
