Dolores H. Strassner, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend, was born on November 13, 1933, in Rochester, New York, where her warmth and kindness would eventually touch the lives of many. She departed this world on January 19, 2026, also in Rochester, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Dolores dedicated her professional life to the esteemed Delco Products, where she worked diligently, embodying a strong work ethic that inspired her colleagues and family alike. Throughout her career, she built lasting relationships, becoming a cherished member of the community. Yet, it was her role as a mother and grandmother that truly defined her.

She is survived by her devoted daughters, Trudyann (Patrick) McCorry, Cindy Kleeh, Roxanne Steubing, and Kim (Greg) Capone, and a loving son, Todd (Beth) Strassner. Each of her children carried with them the values and nurturing spirit that Dolores imparted throughout their lives. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Erin (Tyler) Hopkins, Kelly (Joseph) Robbins, Chelsie Kleeh (Tim Berklin), Julie Lair (Sean), Richard (Sarah) Steubing, Jackie (Nate) Bowerman, Alyson Capone (Bryan McCaffery), Natalee (Eric) Hamman, Jennifer (Jon) Breon, Todd (Emily) Strassner, Cheri Strassner, Daniel Strassner, Briana Strassner (Paxton Cope), and Adam Strassner, alongside her 25 treasured great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Dolores was predeceased by her parents, Roman and Gertrude O'Grady Thomas, and her son, Howard Strassner, who left an indelible mark on her heart. She also shared her life with her loving sisters, Susan (Gerald) Leva and MaryEllen (George) Beadle, as well as her treasured sister-in-law, Phyllis Thomas, who stood by her side through every chapter of her life.

Family will celebrate Dolores's life at her burial  at St. Pius Tenth Cemetery, located at 287 Chestnut Ridge Road, Rochester, NY. As we gather to honor her memory, let us remember the laughter, the joyous recollections, and her unwavering love that will continue to inspire all who have been fortunate enough to know her.

Dolores H. Strassner will forever be missed, but her spirit will live on in the stories that are shared, the values that are passed down, and the love that binds her family together.
