Passed away, surrounded by her family, on July 6, 2025 at the age of 92.

Predeceased by her husband, John Wachtman; son-in-law, David Martin.

She is survived by her son, David Wachtman; daughters, Joyce (Hank) Sauer & Lynn Martin; grandchildren, Julie (Mick), Bradley, Sarah, Matthew (fiance, Madison) & Emma; great-grandson's, Colton & Landon; special friends, Carole & Roy, Rebecca & Jean; many friends.

leaving behind a legacy woven with love, adventure, and unwavering dedication to her family. Throughout her life, Dolores embodied the essence of family, as they were her whole world. She was a constant presence for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, attending every concert, play, and sporting event imaginable—all moments she cherished and celebrated with them.

Dolores had an adventurous spirit that remained vibrant even into her 90s. She loved to travel, embracing spontaneous journeys and taking joy in family vacations, particularly those spent in the serene beauty of the Adirondacks. Her warm heart made every trip a cherished memory, and her enthusiasm for life inspired those around her to seek out their own adventures.

A woman of traditions, Dolores relished the holidays, especially Christmas. She found immense joy in creating lasting memories during this special season, where the magic of Santa Claus would bring delight to her children and grandchildren. Her home was filled with laughter and warmth, a place where her family could come together to share stories, celebrate milestones, and simply be a family.

She lived an active and full life. She had a true love for sports and rarely missed a Buffalo Bills game or a Sunday of golf. Her daily walks were a favorite part of her routine, not just for the exercise, but for the friendships she formed along the way. Dolores was also deeply devoted to giving back to her community. She volunteered for many years at Monroe Community Hospital, offering comfort and companionship, and spent time supporting the mission of Camp Good Days, a cause close to her heart.

Dolores's personality shone brightly; she was always ready for anything, embodying a spirit of adventure with her enthusiastic outlook on life. Her resounding affirmation of "YES!" opened doors to countless experiences and created moments that her loved ones will treasure forever.

As we remember Dolores, we honor a loving matriarch whose heart and presence will be deeply missed. Her legacy of love and commitment to family will continue to thrive in the lives she touched.

Interment will be held on Monday July 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue. Family and friends will gather at the Dewey Avenue gate prior to the graveside service.
