Donald P. Buongiorne

Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Mary Buongiorne. Brothers, Andrew and Richard Buongiorne.

Survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Florence (Sissy) Buongiorne "Leight". Children, Donny (Amee), Chandra (Billy), Shain ( Debbie). Ronald (Patty). Siblings, Christine (Karl), Debbie, Cindy. Grandchildren, Bree, Nicki, Megan, Chyna and Van. Many great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Don was a member of New Testament Church, his dream was to start a halfway house for parolees and the homeless which came to past with the inception of "Grace House" on Carter St. in Rochester. Don was loved by many and respected in the Rochester community. He will be sadly missed especially his efforts, kindness and generosity he showed others.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Albion Faith Fellowship Church (3305 Oak Orchard Rd, Albion, NY 14411) on August 29, 2026, at 12:30 pm. There will be a luncheon following the Celebration of Life.
