Predeceased by his wife, Ruth Pierson.
Survived by his children, Tad (Silvia) Pierson and Heidi (Warren) Kozireski; brother, Louis Pierson; sister, Dolores Fisher, Schwaegerin, Marie Luise Moschini; many nieces and nephews.
Don was a Kodak retiree, a US Submarine Veteran of WWII (USS Tinosa SS 283), a lifetime member of the U.S. Submarine Veterans of WWII, and a lifetime member of the Rochester Schwaben Verein.

Family will receive friends Sunday, September 29th 3-6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Interment 9AM Monday, September 30th at Riverside Cemetery.
