Passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 87.
Of North Greece, NY formerly of Spencerport, NY.
Predeceased by his parents, Leo & Elsie Hoag; brother, Dean; daughter-in-law, Mamie.
He is survived by his sons, Gary (Patty) Hoag, James Hoag & daughter, Stacey (Charlie Sortino) Luther; 5 grandchildren: 6 great-grandchildren.
Don is a retiree of the Ridge Road Fire District, past member of Spencerport Fire Dept., past member of Western NY Drill Team Captains Association & member of Spencerport Exempts.
Family will receive friends 10 - 11 AM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. where his Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Private Interment at Lakeview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please donate in his memory to the Spencerport Fire Dept., 176 Lyell Ave., Spencerport, NY 14559.
