Gates: Passed peacefully, Saturday, April 16, 2016, at age 72, with his wife at his side. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Lynda; his sons, Jody (Julie), Sean (Christine), Lonny (Karie); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Tyler, Thomas, Trevor and Christopher; twin brother, Ronald (Joanne) MacDonald; and 2 nephews. Donald volunteered at Unity Hospital for 8 years.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 21st from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a Memorial Service will immediately follow calling hours at 7 PM. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to American Diabetes Association, 160 Allens Creek Rd., Bldg. 160, first floor, Rochester, NY 14518.
