Passed away on April 14, 2026 at the age of 89.
Born on July, 14th, 1936, in Rochester, New York.
Donald is predeceased by his wife, Nancy Jo Lattanzio; son, Kevin Lattanzio; parents, Patrick and Helen Lattanzio; sister, Linda Lattanzio.
He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Lattanzio, Gregory (Kari) Naas-Lattanzio, and Aaron (Caitlin) Lattanzio; grandchildren, Ryan (Treg) Lattanzio, Cory (Jordan) Lattanzio, Nicholas Lattanzio, Lucia Lattanzio and Charlotte Lattanzio; great-grandchild, Alan Lattanzio; brother, Anthony Lattanzio; and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donald had a passion for reading, arts and culture, cooking (pretty much anything, but his salads were legendary), travel, gardening, and the Buffalo Bills. He was eager to share these interests with those who knew him well, especially his sons and grandchildren. He had a long, dedicated career at Xerox, retiring in 2000 after helping lead a team tasked with preparing their legacy machines for the infamous Y2K bug. Along with his wife Nancy, Donald was active in local community groups, including the Spiritus Christi Prison Outreach. When Nancy became sick, Donald was a loving caretaker as she experienced the changes that accompany Alzheimer’s disease.
