Donald P. Nicols

Donald P. Nicols died on October 20, 2026, in Rochester, New York. He was born on June 23, 1947.

Don was a Navy veteran and spent much of his life in Las Vegas, where he worked in security. His years of service in the Navy and his work in security were important parts of his life and reflected the path he chose over the years.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Rick) Fetzner and Tracy (Doug) Wagner; his sister Diane (Ken) Schmitt; and Denise (Ron) Guarino. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Christina Nicols, Brittany (Brandon) Wagner, Haili (Kevin) Mack, Nicholas Hooper, Gabriella Fetzner, and Cora Fetzner; his great-grandchildren, Mikayla Holland, Nick Holland, Landon Hooper, Thomas Mack, and Savannah Mack; as well as nieces and nephews.

Donald was also known to spend time each week with his very good friends known as the breakfast crew, a gathering that was a regular part of his life and routine.

He will be remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
