ST. PETERSBURG, FL. - Suddenly, August 2, 2018 in St. Petersburg, FL. at age 56. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Young, Sr.; mother, Janet M. Van Patten Young; infant brother, Roy Charles Young and mother-in-law, Janet Gardner. Don is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Elizabeth; daughters, Stephanie (Will) Gordon, Kristi (Brian McVaugh), step-daughter, Katie Yaeger; grandson whom he adored, Liam Hunter Gordon; brothers, David (Jeannine), Steven (Bonnie Hill), Andrew (Terry) and Mark (Erika Zobel); sister-inlaw, Lori Gardner; brother-in-law, James (Anita) Gardner; several nieces, nephews and their families; aunts and uncles, Joyce Taddeo, Mario "Mike" (Louise) Mana, Dorothy Ann (Ernie) Bullivant, Jean Young, Janet Sharp, Linda Lansbury, Joanne Young, Richard (Elaine) Young and many cousins.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 11:30AM-12:30PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a Celebration of Don's life will be held from 12:30PM-1:30PM. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers donations in Don's memory may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642 or to March of Dimes, 3445 Winton Place #121, Rochester, NY 14623.
