Donna Marie Adams, born on September 13, 1949, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024. She dedicated an impressive 43 years of her life to her work as a medical transcriptionist at Rochester General Hospital, where her commitment and professionalism earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
Known for her infectious laughter and bright spirit, Donna was cherished by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a remarkable ability to uplift those around her, often bringing joy and laughter into their lives. Donna had a special way of connecting with older individuals, providing them with kindness and support, and she was adored by children, who were drawn to her warmth and playful nature.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Donna held a deep affection for hockey, particularly for the Rochester Americans, with whom she spent 50 wonderful years as a dedicated member of the Rochester Americans Booster Club. Her loyalty to the team was unwavering, and she shared in their triumphs and challenges with great fervor. Additionally, she was an avid supporter of the Buffalo Bills, enjoying every moment of being part of their vibrant community.
Donna is survived by her beloved husband, Jim Adams; her nephew, Michael Mills; and her good friend, Paul (Fay) Cotropia. She was predeceased by her parents, Al and Sophie Meding; her baby sister; her aunt, Pearl; and her cousin, Jim Mills.
Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
