Rochester: Sunday, October 30, 2011. Predeceased by her brother, Raymond Bandemer. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward; twin children, Carol (Donald) Steinmiller and Edward (Karen) Noble; grandchildren, Melanie Lynn (Dan) Diamond, Eric Edward Noble, Jonathan Paul Steinmiller; great-granddaughter, Teagan Lynn Diamond; loving sister-in-law, Geraldine Bandemer; nieces, nephews and extended family, including the Williams Family. Doris was a homemaker and school crossing guard for School #41.
Family and friends may attend calling hours Friday, 3-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 10:30 AM at All Souls Chapels (Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave., East entrance across Lake Avenue from main office). Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
