Brockport: Beloved Wife and Mother, lovingly known by her daughters as both Agnes and Myrtle, Passed peacefully Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in the presence of her family at age 81. She was predeceased by her parents, Harley and Edna Randall. She is survived by her husband, John Owen Nelson; son, Scott (Kristina) Nelson; daughters, Jackie (Greg) Feeney, Kim (Mark Lehman) Delaney, Mitzy (Steve) Scharr, Sandy (Bill) Bleier; grandchildren, Maxine Feeney, John Feeney, Bill (Brandy) Delaney, Erin Delaney, Mike Delaney, Jr., S.J. (Brande) Scharr, Danielle Bleier, Jessica (Jose) Hernandez, Andrew O'Brien, Ian O'Brien; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, James Randall; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Unity Hospital and Lifetime Care Hospice for their loving care and support.
Dorothy was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, loved Nascar Racing, especially Jeff Gordon and spent many nights laughing hysterically while watching Everybody Loves Raymond.
There will be no prior calling hours. Dorothy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 9th at 11:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude the Apostle Church.
