Dorothy J. "Dot" Wallenhorst (Meylor)
Irondequoit: Passed away peacefully on April 28th, 2013 surrounded by her loving children. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Clarence "Bud"; sister, Virginia and her husband Edwin Hauck; brother-in-law, Urban Wallenhorst and nephew, Dan Hauck; dear friends, Rose Mary & Karl Matzke, Harold Tellex and Fred Benway. Survived by her loving children; David (Sheila) Donald (Ronald Richardson), Kevin (Stacey), Judy (Daniel) DeJohn; grandchildren, Scott (Ashlie), Julie (Jameson) Blandford, Brian (Savannah Hansen), Kyle and Shelby; great-granddaughter, Hallie Elizabeth; sister-in-law, Bernice Wallenhorst; brothers-in-law, Richard (Rita), Robert (Alyce), many nieces and nephews; dearest friends, Gloria Tellex and Nancy Howland-Benway; granddogs, Peanut, Juno, Rosie, Harley, Lily and Baxter Buzzard.
Family and friends may call Friday, May 3rd, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., A Celebration of Dot's life will be held at 9 AM on Saturday, May 4th at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave., Rochester, NY 14612. Interment to follow at Irondequoit Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to their favorite charity in Dot's memory.
