It is with a heavy heart that as of November 4th 2024 I announce the passing of my father Douglas E. Pipech
Son of Predeceased Leo Pipech, Kathryn Helen George.
Brother of Darlene F Pipech, Karen A Laveck and Leo Pipech (predeceased)
Father of Annaliese, Douglas, Scar, Louis, and Emmeline.
Born and raised in Rochester, NY,
Graduated from Monroe High School,
Star athlete for football as a line backer. He continued his football career to Brockport College as well as St. Lawrence College.
Once out of college he became a hard working father of five. Later in life he furthered his education to become a CDL truck driver, from there to be a Truck driver instructor.
Doug was one of a kind; there will never be another man to walk this earth quite like him. Whether you have known him your whole life or only for a moment. Doug was someone you could never forget. Being with him or even around him had such an out of this world feeling. The feeling could be compared to him being something like a superhero out of a comic book. A character larger than life in every way.
He will forever be missed, but never forgotten. To remember his singing, his dancing, the terrible jokes he told, the wacky hairstyles and crazy outfits.
Doug's love for teaching and helping others does not go unseen. From the influence he had in the fitness/gym community to all the students he taught at PDI even just at work and people he would just meet in passing. Doug loved all five of his kids dearly and did his best to provide, to teach, support and pass down all his knowledge.
Like any of us he was far from perfect; but he truly was such a brilliant, talented and hardworking man with a grizzly bear exterior and the softest teddy bear heart. With his big kid core and extraordinary personality. No one could forget him. We will always cherish all the memories we had with you; the walks, the bike rides, the beach days, the ice cream trips, the school trips, the holidays, the car rides and everything in between. We love you and know you will forever watch over us.
Doug never wanted a funeral. Please join us in celebrating the life of Douglas E. Pipech on Thursday, November 14th from 6:00-9:00pm at The Distillery Restaurant, 1142 Mount Hope Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620. ***Please RSVP with Emmeline Pipech at 585.284.1599***
