Passed away on January 26th, 2022 at the age of 66. Predeceased by his parents, Donald and Elizabeth "Ronnie" Rood. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Rita M. Rood; sons, Douglas L. and Dan J. Rood; brothers, Terry and Wayne (Beth) Rood; step-mother, Jane L. Rood along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends on Wednesday February 2nd, 2022 from 10AM - 12PM followed by a service at 12PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his name to any American Legion post.
