He is survived by his wife, Kijana Danzy; children, Duane Jacquis Alston, Duane Nearie Alston and Danielle Carmichael; bonus children, Jeremiah and Jordan Danzy; Mother, Doris (Frank) Alston; siblings, Melvin Harris, Keith Alston and Bernadine Coleman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
