Earl J Cupo

Passed away unexpectedly Tuesday December 31st at 85 years old.

Predeceased by his daughter, Sandy Cupo VanBortle; sister Grace Merlau; brothers and sisters in law Frank and Loretta Cupo, Pat Cupo, Elmer and Grace Cupo, Albert and Shirley Cupo, Rosemarie Cupo; nephew, Tom Merlau.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Penny Thousand Cupo, children, Noreen and Brian Dettman, Laurie and Rolly Harris, Kenny and Patty Snider, Bobby and Lisa Snider and Karrie and John Saylor: grandchildren, Jason and Kristin Dettman, Josh and Rachel Dettman, Tiffany Harris, Joey Harris, Rachel VanBortle, JR and Brittany VanBortle and many other grandchildren; great grandchildren, Nichole, Tucker, Sloane and many other great grandchildren; brother, Salvatore Cupo, brother in law Dick and JoAnn Merlau; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Earl loved his career as an electrician, retiring at 75 years old after practicing for 64 years.
Through the years he mentored many young up and coming electricians.

Earl was past owner of Scorgies Bar on Andrews St. in the city.

He enjoyed deer hunting especially with his best friend Bob Brewer.

Earl loved and was greatly loved by his family, he will be missed.
