Edie was an operator & later a clerk in the mail room at the NY Telephone Company.
After retiring, Edie moved to Rochester NY and bought a modest home where she lived until she went home with the Lord.
Edie enjoyed working for the Lord as an Evangelist, Minister and become known as Mother Knight to many. In Rochester under the Pastor of Kim Gayle she served at Abundant Life Ministries. Mother Knight enjoyed raising grandchildren and seeing an ever growing family of 5 generations. Mother Knight enjoyed glorifying the Lord & donating to many Christian & secular organizations. She enjoyed surprised visits & had a house that welcomed laughter and prayer. She enjoyed watching basketball & other sports with her 1st grandson, Keith.
Mother Edie Knight glorified God for her humble beginnings & she humbly departed from this earth on Nov. 14th 2015 to her heavenly home. She was glad to go to her eternal home like Abraham whose builder & maker is God. Mother Edie Knight will be missed dearly by many.
