Rochester: Formerly of Rome, NY. Passed peacefully surrounded by loving family September 23, 2011 at age 76. Predeceased by his wife, Alice Thomas (Marggi); parents, Edward C. & Eleanor M. (Koehler) Thomas; sister, Gloria Cabic. He is survived by his son, Edward C. (Susan D'Arienzo) Thomas Jr.; granddaughter, Sarah E. Thomas; great-granddaughter, Lauryn Jacobs; sisters, Rose (Ed) Jaczynski, Arlene Tavernier, Gertrude (Lee) VanVolkenburgh & brother, Raymond (Linda) Thomas. Several nieces and nephews.
No prior calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held 11:30am Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery, Rome, NY. Donations in his memory may be to Webster Comfort Care Home, 700 Holt Rd., Webster, NY 14580 or Shire at Culverton (Activity Fund), 2515 Culver Rd., Rochester, NY 14609.
