Rochester: Passed peacefully Thursday June 21, 2012 at age 78. He is predeceased by his wife, Marie. He is survived by his children, David (Ann), Denise (Jim) Donohue; grandchildren, Noah Janis, Ryan and Stephanie Donohue; sisters, Florence and Annmarie Janis; brothers, Michael, Joseph and Stanley; and several nieces and nephews. Edward was a United States Air Force Veteran who served his country during the Korean War, a member of the VFW Post #307 Patchen Briggs, a retiree of P&R Industries after 45 years of service and a member of the Polish American Club.
The family will receive friends Monday June 25th from 11 AM-1 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. where Funeral Services will immediately follow calling hours at 1 PM. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14620.
