Rochester: November 6, 2013 at age 86.
He is predeceased by his wife, Iona; daughter, Sharon Horwitz; parents, Frank and Caroline Kruse.
He is survived by his daughter, Gail (Ronald) Smithski; grandchildren, Robin (Maureen) Horwitz, Dina (David) Zeplin, Tina (David) Flynn and Brenda Horwitz; great-grandchildren, Danielle Zeplin, Zachary and Aiden Flynn, Xavier and Azura Horwitz and Shoshannah Horwitz.
Edwin graduated from Rochester School for the Deaf in 1947. He retired in 1991 after working 43 years as a Residential Counselor at RSD. He was a member of D.E.A.R., R.R.C.D. and the R.S.D. Alumuni Assoc.
His Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 15th at 10AM at the Emmanuel Church for the Deaf, 34 Monica St., Rochester, NY 14619.
