Eileen C. Reed "Penny"
North Chili: Penny passed away peacefully on November 16th, 2015 at age 90. Predeceased by her husband, Lester; daughter, Donna and 3 brothers; Roger, Paul and Joseph Conn. Survived by 2 daughters, Bonnie (Keith) Wight, Brenda (Lavern) Wetherbee; 4 grandchildren, Donna Golden, Jacqueline Forbes, William (Judy) Golden III, Robin Golden; and 7 great-grandchildren, Conrad and Patric Forbes, Nathan Kessler, Dominique Reed, and William IV, Alexander, and Kayla Golden; plus several caring nieces, nephews, cousins and her faithful companion, Gerald Graves.
Eileen was born in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of Paul PJ Conn, from Belfast Ireland, and Dorothy V. Luck. Penny received her nickname from her husband. Penny and Les first met at the Penny Arcade in Olcott, NY. After their marriage they lived first in Lockport, NY and then spent most of their years in Olcott. As seniors, they wintered in Apache Junction, AZ. In 1989 they moved to Middleport, NY where together they built a log cabin. After Les passed, Penny moved to N. Chili, NY to be closer to her family. Along the way in her life, Penny has made wonderful friends. All her friends and family will miss this sweet lady.
A private ceremony will be held at Mount Olive Cemetery in Newstead, NY.
