Eileen J. Scialdone

Greece: May 16, 2013 at age 87. She is predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Frank Scialdone; brothers, Harold, Elmer, and Gerald Kerr; and brother-in-law, Donald Sherman. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Chip) Law and Julie (Don) Schirmer; grandchildren Brandon Law, Cori Law and Ryan Schirmer; Sister-in-law Lena Sherman. Her nieces Marilyn Hewson, Karen Hollywood, Valerie Pfaltzgraf, and Debbie Benack; nephews Don Sherman, Ricky Steele and Bob Steele; devoted companion of 12 years, Bob Dibble; and her dear friends Betty Mawson, Janice Ledtke, Dottie VanZandt and many others. Special thanks to Nancy Myers for her unwavering love and care for Eileen at home for the past year and a half.

Eileen was a retiree of Kodak. She enjoyed square dancing, ballroom dancing, knitting, sewing and playing cards. Eileen was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who always had a smile on her face. She will be deeply missed.

Calling hours Wednesday, May 22 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. from 3-5PM and 7-9PM. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10:00AM at the Bethany Presbyterian Church, 3000 Dewey Ave., Rochester, NY. Entombment, Riverside Cemetery.
