Rochester: June 18th, 2016 age 78.
Predeceased by her parents, Connie and Tracy Gillette MD and son Carlton Holcomb.
Survived by her sons, Timothy and Stephen Holcomb and grandchildren. Siblings, Kit Gillette, Tracie Pedrone, Mary Gillette, Peter (Lynn) Gillette, Lenor Krome and Lisa Gillette.
Elaine was a graduate of Highland Hospital School of Nursing class of 1959 and also a graduate of U of R and the Charleston University.
Elaine directed the Sickle Cell research clinic in Cincinnati Ohio.
Elaine enjoyed playing the piano and performing and singing in musical theater.
She as excellent at sewing and also had an artists eye for interior decorating.
Whatever the challenge Elaine met it with boundless energy and devotion
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at 12 noon at
New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd.
Private interment.
