Eleanor J. Thornton

Passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 92.

Predeceased by her, husband, Ralph Thornton; parents, George Hess & Florence Connolly; siblings, Larry Mayer, Frederick Hess & Rosemary Cooper; son-in-law, Joseph Deluzio.

She is survived by her children, Daniel (Jennifer) Thornton, Patricia DeLuzio, Darlien (Jeffrey) Parker & Michael (Amy) Thornton; grandchildren, Lara (Roger) Lusk, Yvonne Parker, Aerin (Grant) Kemmerer, John DeLuzio, Shana (Karlton) Rolle, Katrina (Steven Hill) Thornton, Richard Thornton & Troy (Goeun) Thornton; great- grandchildren, Bailey Lusk, Ellanor Lusk, Mason Reese, Declan Reese, Kiana Rolle & Talia Rolle; siblings, John (Barbara) Connolly & Kathleen Mitchell; many nieces, nephews & cousins. 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00- 4:00 pm, Saturday January 18, 2025 at Lakeview Community Church, 30 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612.

Family will receive friends Monday January 20, 2025 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. 

Interment at Grove Place Cemetery, 2775 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624.
