Elizabeth Grace Hanselman (Allen)
On April 3rd 1931, Elizabeth Grace Allen was born to Lloyd and Esther Allen (Shea), firstborn daughter of George Shea, in Rochester, New York and raised in a loving Christian home of John and Grace Bliss. At the age of 3, she attended Faith Tabernacle on St. Paul and Scranton Street, where she first knew her husband of 66 years, James Ray Hanselman (He was 8 at the time.) She was married to James Ray Hanselman on May 1st 1948 at the age of 17. Elizabeth was a loving mother of 4 children, Donna Jean, Carol Ruth, James Francis and Lorie Ann and worked as a wife and a homemaker. She has 3 grandsons, Jeffrey, Ethan, and Colin; 3 granddaughters, Heather, Jenna and Megan; and 1 great-grandson, Brody.
Elizabeth worked as a Sunday school teacher at Faith Temple for 17 years and a faithful member of Faith Temple for over 80 years. She was a part of the intercessory prayer team and shared her faith with others; she was also active in Jubilee plus as a committee member for 17 years and served communion for a number of years. She loved to pray, assisted in the helps of ministry and worked in the administrative office of Faith Temple for a number of years. Elizabeth worked in the Alpha & Omega Bookstore.
A loving wife, mother and friend. The Lord took her home on Friday, December 26th to live in God's presence and unite with her family that has passed before.
