Greece: Passed peacefully September 13, 2011 at age 88. Predeceased by her grandson, Jeffrey Witter; brothers, William Streb, Richard (Rosemary) Streb and Robert Streb; sister, Ruth Streb. Survived by her daughters, Barbara (David) Parker, Gail (Ray) Janis; brothers, George (Rose Marie) Streb, Donald (John Fisher) Streb; sister, Sr. Pius Streb, SSJ; Carolyn Eberhart-Streb; grandchildren, Susan Driver, Tracy (Christopher) Sturm, Joshua (Alicia) Witter, Paige Elizabeth Janis, Jacquelin Janis; great-grandchildren, Jared Driver, Jeffrey Sturm, Elizabeth Witter; many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to all the staff at the 2400 Unit at Unity Hospital for the amazing care given to Betty and her family.
Friends may call Friday, September 16, 2011, 3-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Her Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 17th at 9:15 AM at Holy Cross Church.
