Fisher, Elizabeth ("Bette")
Rochester: June 5, 2014 at age 89. She is predeceased by her parents, Lawrence J. & Almira Vogt; husband, Robert; son, James; her daughter, Susan. Survived by her sons, Robert (Amy), Timothy (Ann Marie), William (Joanna), Christopher (Sarah); daughter Laurie (Jack) Trent; 19 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many friends at The Legacy.
Bette was born in Dansville, New York, in 1924. She married her husband Bob, of Wayland, in 1944. They moved to Rochester in 1951 where they raised their family of 6 children. Bob retired from Eastman Kodak in 1983 after 35 years. Bob and Bette returned to Dansville in 1985 before moving to Churchville in 2006. After Bob passed away in 2008, Bette lived on at The Legacy. She had many friends there who made her stay warm and neighborly.
Friends and family may call Monday June 9th, 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Her funeral mass will be held Tuesday June 10th at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Road, Rochester, NY. Internment is at Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
